What brand of food?
What brad of food(s) do you feed your hedgies?
I would like to get this little guy on a high quality food if possible.
I sent my S.O. out to the store today to get Hedgie food. What he brought back about made me puke at the ingredients!

GROSS! I swear he knows better but he said that is all they had and recommended. *shakes head* I told him to take the crap in a bag back.
My cats eat Blue Buffalo Spa Select Chicken & Rice, my basset hound puppy eats Blue Buffalo Life Protection Chicken and Rice puppy food and my 14 year old beagle eats Diamond Naturals Senior Chicken and Rice food. Reading around I have read that hedgies should not eat blue - as they are very rich and hard on a hedgehogs digestive system. Also hedgie owners would try to steer clear of complex proteins like those found in Blue, Innova, Wellness, etc.
What do you all recommend feeding these little critters?
8 years ago when I owned a hedgie I fed her Chicken Soup LITE cat food. I'm not sure if it was good or bad for her but she seemed to do well on it, my small animal vet recommended it.
