Bah.

Anyone have any advice on how to get a pog to use their wheel? Pia has a lovely big bucket wheel in her cage, but doesn't seem to have the foggiest as to what it's for. I've tried physically placing her in it, but she just puffs and curls and gets the hell out. I'm concerned about her exercising, because her cage isn't overly big; she does get lots of out of cage time, but still.

Damn puffly hedgehog. We've had her for, er, almost two months, and she still huffs and puffs at anything that moves near her. Anything. She's on walkabout on the bed right now. I blink, she puffs. I type, she puffs. I sniffle, she puffs. A pillow moves a centimetre, she puffs. Heaven forbid I dare move, because she puffs. We've both been handling her, and, while she uncurls fairly quickly, if you breath too loudly, she puffs and butts. She just seems to be wary of everything ever. I don't know if that's from her previous environment or if she's just terminally cranky like Cerberus was.

Any advice?

She's... nibbling a sheet right now. It either smells really nice, or she's having a tug of war, which she does sometimes.
