long time admirer, first time owner

hi! i saw this community in spotlight the other day and just had to join. i don't own a hedgehog but i hope to sometime soon. i've always loved hedgies :)

i've done my share of research, but as a beginner i don't really know much about proper care.  i was wondering if you guys have any tips for someone like me? much appreciated!
