contest maybe?
attention hedgehog lovers & owners:
luke (boyfriend/owner of arlo-doppler) and i (jenny/owner of mazzy-lux) were thinking that it would be cool to have some sort of hedgehog picture contest on here. i was thinking that we could have a couple categories and just do a new different one every month. stuff like "best running on wheel picture," "best tubing picture," "best eating picture," "cutest picture," "meanest picture," etcetera... there would probably be a rule about using the lj-cut tag (& i'll put up easy instructions for anybody who might not know how) for pictures so that they don't take up lots of space on people's lj-friends pages or take forever to load. or i might just have the pictures all emailed to me so that they could be posted all at once in one big post.
would anyone be interested in this? the voting would be all fair and square using livejournal polls. and there wouldn't be much in the way of prizes, but i thought maybe i could change it to where the hedgehog community's icon is the same whenever it posts to your friends-page (instead of individual people's icons showing up) and the winner each month would have their hedgehog be the icon for all the next month. i know it isn't really exciting or anything, but it seemed like it would be fun. anyway, this might be a really dumb idea, so please comment & let me know what you think. input on all aspects of this is encouraged, and suggestions for picture categories would be good too. if not too many people are involved then it isn't really worth it, so please fill out the poll below to let me know, and post any additional comments/suggestions/questions you may have in the comments section. thanks much.
