sweet baby

Night before last, I gave Am a bath (I spritz her with a spray bottle, then scrub her spikes with a toothbrush), and then thought I'd let her play in the water cuz I've heard some of 'em like it. I filled just the low end of the bath tub, then put her in, and as she wasn't impressed, I ran a little more so she could swim. She did not like this at all, and tried to climb the farthest corner from the water. I picked her up and she quickly climbed up my chest and onto my shoulder, then tried to climb up my head inside my hair. I'm guessing she didn't link the 'bad waterness' to me, because we then bonded deeply because of her need to be close to me. I held her in my lap, on a towel to dry, and slowly stroked her spines and she didn't puff up, or growl. She just lay there, seemingly enjoying it, her little feet relaxed, just breathing and blinking. In that moment, I felt like I was her real mama.

'nother question about snacks/treats: would it be okay to give her fresh caught(from my mom's laundry room) cave crickets, versus store bought crickets? Their bigger...I would assume that's the only difference.

hygiene: bathing, supplies: treats
