happy fifth of july!
this weekend has been great.
got to spend lots of someone elses' money on my brother yesterday. he looks like a hipster now.
and he likes it.
saw my parents a bunch, that was nice.
drew called me, that was blast from the past. I miss last summer and all that went with it. I even miss the boy with the phantom irish accent and the black eye.
well not really, but i miss the connotations.
Today I went shopping with my mom, because that's the only way we know how to bond anymore (not that I'm complaining, these days. She's great anyway.)
Then Laura and I had some beers and chilled watching tv and talking about things.
Then I went to a BBQ where I wish I had been more sober.
Now I am wide awake and happy and blissfully single. I love it.
Tomorrow I will sleep in and make a few phone calls, cook some.
Who knows what else.
I love New York.
Friday I go to house sit. Everyone should come visit me. I'll be there for three weeks, 59th and Lex, amazing neighborhood. Bring a six pack and we'll have a little house warming get together in my three beautifully decorated rooms.
Laura and I are going to get to some shows soon.
