So, it is my first day at a new job, back in the software industry. Teaching kempo was fun, but it isn't really the way to build a long-term future without being the kind of salesman that I really don't wanna be.
New work looks interesting, and I've got a sweet, dual-monitor setup
Really cool boss who was a "Red-box kid" Dungeons and Dragons guy and we had the following exchange:
Me: "Yeah. That was what I was trying to say and failing."
Him: "Yep. Quite well."
Me: "Epic fail."
Him: "Cultural references for the win."
I think this is gonna be a good change for me.
