So the appointment for my lesson yesterday was a no-show, but Sensei did give me plenty of pointers on running a private lesson and how to get people to enroll for classes. I can't say I'm overly fond of being a pushy salesman type, but the school is a business, too.
In other news, I'm having a wonderful debate with my sempai over email. I'm sure it'll be even more fun tomorrow at lunch over mongolian bbq.
Sword clinic tonight. I'm learning the dao. I wanna eventually learn jien and katana. Both are apparently black belt-level weapons.
(NB: the stuff on that site actually looks like they're KEWL BADDAZZ pieces of crap. I just linked there cuz it was the first visual reference that came up on google image search)
