Stroke Comeback Center

In fall of 2000, my mother suffered a stroke while working late one evening. The ordeal left her with Aphasia, which impaired her speech and turned personal interactions into an excersise in frustration for all involved. However, her outlook was the definition of pugilism, and she threw herself into speech therapy with the same abandon she used to study her way into Georgetown Law.

These days, she occupies herself by organizing and running the aforementioned comeback center, which is dedicated to helping those who've suffered similar losses to rehabilitate and generally find help. The problem at the moment, is that there isn't enough sponsorship to expand it beyond its current humble incarnation, and furthermore, not enough public awareness or PR know-how to gain the attention necessary to attract donations and/or sponsorship.

Does anyone know of any resources or repositories of information where I can find something to pass along to her in an effort to make this more than just a local occurrance?
