Awful News Out of Virginia
Living on the west coast, I tend to get morning news a bit later than the rest of the world.
NPR just told me that the news from Virginia Tech is not good.
Apparently, there was a shooting on campus today. Inititally, there were reports of 1 killed and 17 wounded. Now the VA Tech official is saying that there are at least 20 fatalities and anothe 28 wounded.
The whole incident reminds me of the 1989 shooting at Ecole Polytechnique, in that there was a shooting in a classroom and it happened at a school with an engineering emphasis.
