And I'm 40 today
And it's my birthday! My amazing husband threw me a SURPRISE 40th party last Saturday, complete with my best friend since I was 13 being there with her family. There were about 50 people in my house when I came home from work, all yelling "Surprise!" and I truly was touched. I guess Brian's been planning it for about 9 months (giving lead time for my friend from Kansas) and my two good friends here helped him out, but they both say he did all the work. It included a sushi buffet and an enormous cake and it was wonderful to receive.
I've had a party a week for friends (week 1 of December was centerpiece making, week 2 was ornament exchange, week three gingerbread house making) and before that we had an election night party and it seems that I'm the one who organizes everything! The party for me left me feeling very happy!
