Hector looked forward to new movie releases -- and moreso those nights he'd spend watching them with Corbin. The drive to the theater was twenty minutes from Hector's home but it was well-worth the wait, both because the theater offered intimate
pods for couples, and because he could spend even more time with Corbin in transit.
Stopped at a red light, Hector gave Corbin a quick side glance before returning his gaze forward, pondering just whether or not closing some distance between them would be a wanted advance. He decided to risk it, sliding his right hand from the steering wheel over to rest on the vampire’s leg instead, fingertips curling with gentle pressure against the inside of his thigh.
The car windows were tinted to obscure some detail, but anyone could still glance inside if they so chose. Something about the contact made Hector feel the tiniest bit of exhilaration; touching Corbin in the solitude of their homes was one thing, but in public felt far more exotic. It was slow progress, but the longer he spent in Corbin's company, the more comfortable the contact became.
