Chokozaii
Found a jap drama I can obsess over!

I LOVE Ataru because the pace is awesome. It's episodic and I love dramas which have a proper resolution after each episode (because I'm generally impatient), and at the same time having a running theme to link the drama together. I'm not too excited about the case itself though. I just love the interactions between the characters. And Chokozai is just too cute. Eps 2's hotdog thingy was so cute. And I like how he's imitating the grumbling of the other characters LOL. And I like the small details like how he thinks? E.g. the 1000yen vs 10000yen thingy... he updated his system such that if something costs 1050yen he can just pay 1000yen coz that was what happened with the stall.
There are comedic elements and I think the characters didn't overdo their roles? Like they are meant to be funny so they execute their lines well enough such that I didn't find them to be too exaggerating. Nearly choked on my food during the "wah ke-ki, wah ke-ki, ke-ki" part in eps 3 LOLLLLLLL. Some might find it lame but I'm easily amused and I can appreciate the effort. AND THE TROLL CHAIR MOMENT. LOL amg.
Oh oh and I love Shunichi's accent/dialect? Okay the correct word fails me at the moment but you know the way he sometimes slips into this '...yan/wa/ya' is very attractive.
Can't wait to see how this drama progresses! Like who Chokozai really is, his past, his 'family', the relevance of the synchro pool (Just a wild guess, I think this is like a training tool for Chokozai? Maybe they created this series to input messages in him). And the uh 'love story' between Maiko and Shunichi. I'm sure there's no 'love story' per se but I really like their interactions.
