SMAP'S NEW SINGLE "BOKO NO HANBUN" [Half of Me] IS SO BEAUTIFUL I CAN CRY LISTENING TO IT. The lyrics are so beautiful. The music is so beautiful. And the way the guys sang it is so beautiful. I KNOW NO OTHER ADJECTIVE EXCEPT BEAUTIFUL. The fact that they repeated "utsukushii hito" [you beautiful person] in the chorus has totally nothing to do with my current limited vocab.
Oh and it's a beautiful song about unrequited love. Oooh how apt. LOL. Come to think about it, it's actually a really sad song. A beautiful sad song.
My favourite lines are those that contain the title. Like Nakai's "ima boku wa hanbun" [Now I'm only half of me/I'm not a whole now] and Goro's "anata wa boku no hanbun" [you are my other half/partner]. I'm obsessed with this half-half makes a whole crap coz of THIS thingy I saw on tumblr two years ago and thought that it was beautifully written.
