The adventure to meet SMAP begins...
It started the moment I saw this news - Japanese band SMAP to play Expo
Okay I first read rumours, then saw it on the Japanese site [chrome/google translator for the win!] and finally it was confirmed. All within a few hours. I thought I was going to faint from all the hyperventilation ><
Two days ago, I was looking through the Shanghai Expo website because someone posted a link to it on facebook. And the night before yesterday, I dreamt of meeting Shingo at some exhibition. That was the first time ever that I dreamt of a smap member [I've never dreamt of takuya :\] So they were actually signs! Everything makes sense now! Haha!
After hyperventilating to various people, I finally asked my mom if I could go. I was so calm. I sounded like I was rationalizing things and all. Even though I could hear myself trembling and I was on the verge of crying [I dunno why I got that emotional!] My mom was obviously annoyed because she thinks such fan-girling is "worthless" and a "waste of time". In the end [thankfully it didn't take too long...In fact it took her 5 mins] she said "gasak kau lah" ["Up to you, I can't be bothered"] and I went back to my room grinning like some mad woman. And hyperventilated some more.
Next was to find a friend. Smapforum is loveee. I found someone who wanted to go and we started planning.
This must be up there in my reckless/impulsive-things-I've-done list. But I'm sure I won't have any regrets =) It will be an adventure! And I'll use this LJ to update.
*Latest Update: Hotel is booked! Rayfont Shanghai Xuhui Hotel... Left with tickets, and booking of flights and travel insurance. And we'll be ready to go!
