A true and thoughtful poem

I am an oily backer,
I know it thru and thru.
And if there's time to
"nick der nine"
then you shall know it, too.

I am an oily backer,
and honsil tolly grow;
if they can see
the back of me
to them I shall give show.

I am an oily backer,
an advocate of sin.
Of nasty vice
and pubic lice
and also drinking gin.

I am an oily backer,
the news must not be new.
And yet, the knave
a thruppence gave
and saw thence the ass of you.

I am an oily backer,
I do not advertise.
Without a care
I flip: my hair!
and bake it into pies.

I am an oily backer,
a backer sporting oil.
And this, my friend,
is now the end
of my oily tale of toil.
