what is love~? hehe... i want your opinions!

Can anyone here explain the whole concept of love and relationships to me? What's so confusing about it, you ask? The process of two people liking each other, and maybe even loving each other, is so odd to me, I guess. Why does this happen? I feel stupid asking this, but it's something really basic that should always be understood... shouldn't

It's really lame these days to know that people now use the word "love" when they think your hot or when they want to just sleep with you. In a way...love cannot just be said at "first sight" because love is something that happens over time. Family love happens over time and so does relationship love. Hearing people say that they love thier significant other when they have only been dating or "seeing" each other for about a couple months is insane. It's not love, it's just a strong sense of wanting at the time. Don't confuse "wanting" with "love

I totally agree with you that love shouldn't be confused with infatuation or lust. It happens too often nowadays.

Why do people fall in love?

1)Because they don't want to be lonely.
2)They want money.
3)They like the looks.
4)Because they THINK they want to spend the rest of their lives together.
5)They become what could be considered your best friend and it would be hard to live the rest of your life without them :) this is what my mom and dad told me.

I'm not certain what love is, seeing as i've never really experienced it. I've had crushes (I'm 16 :/ i'm not asexual) but i've never been in a true relationship. So I couldn't particularly say. But i'm going with some kids on this.
1) Love is when you can't think straight when your around the certain someone and you do stupid things.
2) Love is when you get a stomach ache, and you don't quite feel right. Like your floating.
