my mom just told me that if i want to get out of the city she can come get me in a few days and will pay the rent that's 2 weeks late. i can leave my nowhere job and never have to walk around the broken glass and dog shit of jefferson st again. but the city is thawing. i know these streets and avenues (shit and all). i've found more than acquaintances. is it really worth it?
