It seems an introduction is in order
For those who may not have seen the_sween's post, I would like to officially introduce our newest household member, Pepper!
Pepper is about 1 year old, and came to us from the Champaign County Humane Society. She's got gorgeous blue merle coloring, with white markings and tan points. I think she's a mix of Australian shepherd and Blue Heeler, but we'll see what the vet thinks. She's about 50 lbs and probably still has a bit of growing to do.
Pepper loves to play. And run. And eat. And sleep. And play. Unfortunately, her running is somewhat limited right now, since we can't have her off leash in the dog park until she gets spayed.
She's smart as a whip--she already obeys more commands than Lance did, and she's learning FAST. Her personality is like silly putty; it just gloms onto everything it can and imprints on it. We're going to need to be really diligent with her, since she's still in her puppyhood. Fortunately she has a ton of good habits already!
Pepper can't wait to meet all of you (especially Twinkie, Mika and Roman) and lick your faces!
