Random post is random
I learned a very important lesson yesterday - staying up half the night fueled by tea and pocky in order to fix the computer + working all the next day in the yard (including shoveling and moving a ton of mulch from one end of the property to the other) = being so dizzy and loopy by 9pm that you nearly pass out. Fun times! It probably doesn't help that all I had eaten yesterday until about 7pm was a small bowl of cut up fruit and a bit of cottage cheese, heh. Like I said, lesson learned.
But at least the computer is fixed and I have one of my small beds planted full of radishes and spinach? I'm just glad I wasn't setting out seedlings...we got a freeze warning last night after it was too late to even think about trying to cover anything. Luckily everything else i've planted is established enough that it wasn't bothered, except for my potatoes. They're looking a little wilted, but i'm hoping they bounce back.
I've realized that the only fandom i'm not actively shipping in is Leverage. I sorta ship Parker/Hardison, but only in a they're both adorable and he baffles her/he thinks she's hot but sort of crazy way. Everything else? I've gone overboard. meganbmoore was saying last night she was suprised there was no Victor/Sierra comm yet since all the other random Dollhouse ships have comms, and I came VERY close to starting one. But I resisted! And don't any of you encourage me to start one either, I WON'T DO IT. except I probably will.
Speaking of tv, anybody planning to check out The Unusuals? It...kinda looks awful, but it might be fun? I dunno. I guess i'll watch the premiere and go from there. It's not like I need new tv...on top of Dollhouse, Castle, BBT, HIMYM, and The Office, i've been rewatching Buffy and Angel (but am stuck, I only have s1 of Angel, and apparently skipped s2, 3, and 7 on my Buffy buying spree), the Farscape rewatch started, and I still have to catch up on True Blood and watch Legend of the Seeker once Chris brings them to me. I'm apparently on a tv binge - next thing you know i'll be rewatching Charmed.
I also seem to have a knitting problem at the moment. I've been working on a cotton tank/vest thing but am out of yarn until the needleworks manager at Hobby Lobby gets off her ass and orders the rest for me like I asked 2 weeks ago. I have a sock on the needles, I started designing a giant felted sling bag, and I randomly REALLY want to knit a February Lady Sweater that I know will be completely useless for the next 7-8 months. And that's not counting the other 2 sweaters that i've had on the needles for the past 3-4 months and have been ignoring. I'm so fickle. :/
I guess since my paid account runs out in 4 days and I can't renew until at least one person buys a pattern, I will take advantage of my poll abilities and get some input. Because you're all smarter than me.
