Well, it's back to sending out 50million resumes a day. The interview was fine, in fact, i'm 99% sure I got the job. The problem was the facilities. I was led to believe it was, you know, a SCHOOL, not a nursing home with a fancy name for wheelchair bound mentally disabled persons. I've worked in assisted living before, and will never, ever do it again. The patients are treated like dirt, if not outright abused, and you have two kinds of people you work with...people like me, who care too much and end up busting their ass to make up for the other type that, quite simply, doesn't give a damn. I can't deal with that shit again. I was also told in the interview that I would have to go through aggressive behavior training, and uh, no. My stress level would be through the roof. And if that wasn't enough, the way the rotation works I would get max 2 weekends off every 6 weeks...Chris and I had already decided he would stay in Mississippi and work the weekends I was working, so that means he would basically never be home. Yeah, not happening.
Sigh. Anybody want to hire a knitting secretary?
BTW, thanks for the driving advice. I left an hour early and drove very, very slowly. I only hit one patch of ice and handled it just fine!
BTW2 - I swear, I will retire the suck! tag soon. -_-
ALSO. Thank you, all you lovely, wonderful people for the comments on the love meme. Those comments made my week. *_*
