Holiday Update
Greetings my fellow lovies! After working the week from hell; this meaning my typical 6 day work week I ended the week by having a wonderful couple of days....so here you go!
Tuesday - Went over my lovely Ladybug's house and had yummy Hawaiian Chicken and cheesy potatoes and a couple good laughs with her 5 year old son. Then it was off to Hancock fabrics to pick up the fleece pieces for my grandmothers' Christmas gift. We lucked out and found this beautiful strawberry colored top panel that had red roses embroidery on it. For the bottom we found this rockin lime green fleece. Both were the micro fleece soooo they were uber soft mmmmmmmmmm pet able! I need to make me one now lol.
After leaving Hancocks' i called lovely J&J and headed over there to pick up a batch of homemade chocolate chip cookies to give to my neighbors as Christmas gifts. Ladybug got to meet J&J and may have even made a new friend for her in the process :) YAY networking of friends :) After we were done J&Js we headed back to Ladybugs house and she showed me how to put the fleece blanket together; and in turn I showed her how I do my cast on stitch for knitting..was a wonderful evening. I then headed home and hung out with Alan.
Wednesday - Ahhhhh first morning I got to sleep in and BOY did I! After him and I got up we hung around the house for awhile then headed over to Gumby and Landon's for yummy food and company at The Grill. We then headed up to Perry Hall/Towson area and hung out with Kelly -- which was good since we hadn't seen her since Nan and Ron's Wedding. After much silliness Alan and I headed back to Odenton where he teased me with my Christmas gift...he was soooo evil! But I love him so its all good hehe.
Christmas!!!! -- Yet again we ended up sleeping in and enjoyed having the day off. Once we got up it was time to head downstairs to open up gifts. I got Alan this beautiful deep red dress shirt cus well my man looks really sexy in deep red hehe. He then processed to give me this huge box which looked light as hell...BOY was I wrong. Once I opened it up I did the happy kid dance...I am now the proud owner of an XBOX 360!!!!! It even came with Legos Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda :) I was good though because I didn't open it up until AFTER we got home from Family Festivities.
We got ready and headed over to J&Js to share in the lovely Holiday cheer with their family and friends...lots of laughs and good times. Even got to talk gaming and played some Wii. We left there around 3:30pm and headed back up to Perry Hall to my parents house. Yummy Food, Money from parents and grandmother and got to see the new Mummies movie. We left there around 9:30pm. When Alan and I got home I got to hook up my Xbox 360 and played some of the games and then headed to bed.
Today -- Hung out with Alan and played some xbox then watched some Highlander on Sci-fi channel. I went through some of my old xbox games and traveled over to Gamestop and picked up The Darkness, Grand Theft Auto IV and Fable II. Now its time to hang out with the man and relax before heading to work yet again tomorrow morning.
