Behind the Name
The nom de plume is Hecates Kiss. I've used the name or a variant of for fanfiction.net and Archive of Our Own. It makes me easier to track if anyone is trying to do so. I'm a fan fiction writer, focused mostly on Valdemar/Velgath, Highlander, and World of Warcraft universes. I've been toying with a Potter-verse story in m head for a while, but haven't put the pen to paper to actually get started on it.
I prefer pen (black ink) and paper (college ruled) to keyboard and mouse. I will use the computer when I must for writing, but the process is easier if I have a pen in hand and a blank page before me.
In real life I work in an independent game store, selling card, board, and video games. Its amazing how much time I have for writing during the day, even at work. Most days anyways. I live in the Black Hills of South Dakota, a beautiful area year round -- if you like the snow.
