I see your point... There isn't even room for someone to put their briefcase, nevermind their two-and-a-half kids and dog...
Still though, this is a positive sign that we'll be able to manufacture *actual* cars that get even 1/10th (800mpg) relatively soon. Even 100mpg would be great!
Seriously though, 8000 miles per gallon? You'd only have to fill the tank once a year! At $3.00 a gallon, it might be worth looking that silly driving to work!
Ultimately though, being poor will be better for him. Chasing after money is bad for the soul. We should all be poor and miserable; only then will we be truly happy!
And what are those corporations doing advertising on the green car? Corporations are evil and therefore anti-environment so they wouldn't actually support something like this... it must be some conspiracy. Competition is bad and never produces anything good. I don't even know why they held a contest like this; they all could have worked together to make an even better car. If only Fidel or Kim Jong-Il had run this program, we'd already have a car that runs on air and produces pure, drinkable water while it cleans the environment and feeds the hungry as it drives. Damn those dirty Republicrats and imperialist neocons for keeping the man down!

Ah, you misstate what I said. I said he should be taxed until he is not rich. Being not rich, is not the same as being poor. *Gasp* I couldn't be talking about something as radical as moderation, could I?
Did you see the pictures all over the car letting you know who gave him the money to build it in the first place, and who sponsored the whole competition so that others would also try to come up with the best fuel saving ideas possible? I guess it is kind of subtle in the picture!
