Real classy,
NARAL:
Whether you're for or against abstinence-based education, we can all agree that abstinence is something that should be promoted and that the above NARAL advertisement is crude and unwarranted.
On a side note, the "pro-Choice" label is ridiculous. They're pro-abortion and they should just say so. When they start criticizing the Chinese government for "taking away a woman's right to choose" when the Chinese government forces women to have abortions, maybe then I'll take the "choice" thing a little more seriously.
Speaking of "choice" -- these anti-choice, pro-abortion advocates oppose
this bill:
SB 5851: Regarding health care provider right of conscience: Would allow doctors or health care personnel to claim a procedure or service to be "against their conscience", and thus be immune to any liabilities or punishments resulting from their refusal to perform it.
Additionally, it would be illegal for hospitals or clinics to discriminate between prospective employees based on the procedures or services they refuse to perform.
So they don't want doctors to have the "freedom to choose" which procedures they will and will not perform? And they want to deny Catholic hospitals the "freedom to choose" not to hire doctors who will perform abortions, which are against their philosophy? "Pro-choice" indeed!
