I really hate when I don't listen to Mara's advice. She was all "Don't watch Veronica Mars after the first season, because it is terrible!" I thought she meant it would be immediately unwatchable, and it was not, so I kept watching! But what she actually meant was 'it will be like if Dawson's Creek were a less absurdly white crime show! it will be Monica crack! and then the second season finale will CRUSH YOUR SOUL AND MAKE YOU ANGRY AND DEVASTATED.'
This is exactly the inverse of when I was resistant to watching Community/Modern Family/Parks and Rec and they all turned out to be marvelous.
