why don't I have ANY eleven icons?
While this was a really watchable and enjoyable episode on a surface level... where are Amy's feelings? And Rory's? Where is the Doctor's respect for the Ponds' feelings? "You have too much foreknowledge to raise your daughter, who was kidnapped and brainwashed lol sorry!" is not really acceptable in my book. I can understand that there may not have been time in the episode for an in-depth exploration of Amy and Rory's feelings, and/or that Moffat may intentionally be staying away from the deep dark angstiness that was basically the hallmark of the Ten/RTD era, to which I have to say... 1. make it a two-parter 2. why is this your plot? come the fuck on.
I did REALLY enjoy that Hitler was locked in a closet for the duration of the episode, though. That was pretty entertaining.
