So I saw Something Corporate's Reunion Tour last night... amazing.
me: 1. that was AMAZING.

me: the rest of the experience was pretty stressful, especially since I slept six drunkass hours

THEY PLAYED "WALKING BY."
And the intro was AMAZING.

me: He said "Can I tell you the story behind this song? Are you sick of the stories yet? (pause for cheering) We were recording Audioboxer. There was this girl who... Basically, I wanted to hook up with her, and she wasn't interested. So I wrote her this song, with like five days left in recording, and I called the guys and we recorded this song to impress her. It worked. She's now my wife, and she's actually here tonight." <3__<3
which I think kind of steps right up to the line between romantic and creepy, and eyes it
and so is just ridiculously cute

And then he did a piano intro that was all swingy!
I teared up again during "I want to save you," of all songs, because he DID save me
not a lot, just like my tear ducts were like HEY
and then again during the Astronaut, because Andrew was telling me to my face that I am not alone.

so Josh Partington is a terribly energetic guitarist
and at the beginning he was playing his part like... Andrew was sitting at the piano and Josh came and draped himself over Andrew's back?
So when Andrew sang the first line, he was like "I kissed a drunk Josh."

me: And then during the first non-piano-y part, he got up from the piano and was bouncing around the stage and gave Josh this LOOK
SO PRESH
like, he and Josh really are besties
and they were all so genuinely thrilled to be there
Mara: awwwwww man il when bands are like that
me: Andrew continually said thank you and remarked on how glad he was to be there and how nice it was to play outside and stuff
and when he came back to encore, he intro'd Konstantine by talking about how all of this was for the fans, not anything else, and how when you're writing you never know what's going to take and Konstantine is the song of the people

me: It was all VERY A+++
but all five of them just had the most incredible collaborative energy about them
there was a guitar solo during... something, maybe drunk girl? but maybe not. i don't remember! :( and Josh and the rhythm guitarist (who I think was actually a replacement, because William Tell the former rhythm guitarist was way more attractive :/) were like, having guitar sex?
and Andrew went to his knees in front of them, facing them and like pointing at them
it was just completely fucking incredible
