I was born, grew up, and lived in Houston for 21 years! This is so exciting!! If you're going to Kemah and are going to be in the Seabrook area, and you like hamburgers, definitely take time to go to Tookies if you can. They're literally my favorite hamburgers on earth, and the onion rings are award-winning and HUGE! I'd also recommend driving the rest of the way down to Galveston if you have time, just to see the gulf coast. There are a lot of fun little touristy places on the seawall, and you can take a chance to dip your toes in the water if you like.

If you want some good Tex-Mex, I'll also recommend Casa Ole (there are plenty of locations) or Iguana Joes (there are a couple of east Houston locations if you're out that way).

I'm so jealous that you're going to San Antonio! <3 I haven't been in years, but the River Walk is probably my most favorite place to be at night on earth, gah. San Antonio has a nice zoo if you have the time; they have a bird exhibit in particular where you can feed lorikeets and they'll land on you and stuff. I did it for my birthday one year when I was a teenager and I loved it. Houston also has a great zoo; it's super expansive and actually has more animals than the LA Zoo out here where I live now, which I thought was impressive.

Oh man, I went home last month for about a week, and I already want to go back haha. I hope you enjoy yourself!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! Why don't you live there anymore, I would have loved to meet you ;A; <333

Thank you so so much for the extra suggestions though! We have think this through very carefully what we want to see as priority, as we will have around 2,5 days to see things?

Question, is the Museum of Natural Science worth going? Are there dinosaur skeletons? I have heard that there is a section called "Morian Hall of Paleontology", which has dinosaurs?

Sadly, I cannot eat bread overall, as that makes my stomach "blow up", overall allergic reaction, as I am allergic to wheat/grain. I admit though that I do get some pies, or pasta overall (which has flour and flour has wheat/grain), but the amount isn't as big on those as in bread. I don't know, bread just overall makes my stomach upset.

I was wondering what Tex-Mex is, so I googled it and found that it's Texas-Mexican food XD
Thank you so much for the suggestions, we might try out these ones as well!

Looking forward to San Antonio! I have heard River Walk is gorgeous as well, so I can't wait to go there! I personally prefer to go during evening as well when everything is lit up nicely!

There are so so many zoos, so I seriously CAN'T decide which one to go for, I guess go for 2? I am sure that all of them are secretly absolutely amazing, but I can't go to zoos only! My dream was to pet a manta ray, so we will surely go to an aquarium in Corpus Christi!

Thank you so so much hun, this helped me a lot! <3333
