San Francisco, Secret Santa and less then two weeks

Dec 04, 2010 22:07

In less than two weeks, I will be going to Slovakia of course, I CAN'T WAIT! >W< <3333

Well, I am back from San Francisco about a week ago....but hell, I do not have any photos to show you, because this assy computer won't connect to anything, not a camera, not my iPod, ANYTHING. It pisses me off, so I can't show you an photos right now. A lot of people do not care to see anyways XD
And those who wanna see, I will bring our camera to Slovakia with us, so I can show you all the photos in person. It's even better so, because here, too many photos = no. Just no.
Of course, what I can tell you that I have had a wonderful time there with my dad! <3
Duh, I find San Francisco even more beautiful that New York....why is it that people think of New York first when it comes to the US? The Statue of Liberty? The immigrants? No clue, but what I definitely can tell, I am not really a fan of New York, especially Skyscrapers....San Francisco is an absolute different story, so much more interesting<3
Of course, it's on the other end of the US, that's also probably.
I went by that old famous Cable Car, on which you can just stand on the edges of the car and feel the wind. Damn, that felt so good srsly! <3333
My dad and I went to see those things that are typical for San Francisco, like Lombard street (that curvy street that every tourist wants to drive through), Pier 39 with lazy cute sea lions lying around, Chinatown, Japantown, etc! <3
In Japantown, we went to this shopping mall and it had one of those typical japanese dango and tea stands, so me and my dad had some of those as well! <33333
There were shops like a large ass manga shop, anime merchandise shop, tea shop and whatnot, but there was this one particular shop, where I begged my dad for buying this one Mamegoma shirt and in the end I got it <3

Then we went to this interesting museum called "Odditorium." There were things like a bride's dress made out of toilet paper, it looked actually pretty cool <3
Now telling this all makes me want to show you the photos :'DDD
Oh well, next time then.

Since I am also participating in that Christmas wishlist thing, I thought I would paste it here on LJ as well, so here it is C:

CHRISTMAS WISHES!

Step 1.

Make a post in your dA journal (the manual INCLUDED). The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real-life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

Step 2.

Surf around your friends list (or friends friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Step 3.

The list:

Btw, kill me, do I sound like an absolute idiot when I like to listen Peter Nagy a deti right now?? XDDD
Of course, I was a hardcore fan of the songs and now it came back to me thanks to Zuzka, who actually put it up and we were listening to it while painting <3

DUH, trying to add a video in here, but can somebody tell me how the hell to do it? I even read a journal how to do it, but it didn't work .___.
