a glimpse of the past...
I enjoyee that 1800's feel of yesterda.
You realize how much stuff requires electricity,
and what life could be like if you didn't have internet, tv
or electrical stove to cook with.
Of course Hollywood had it wrong, I think in a terrorist situation it would be more hectic, but no electricity doesn't make people stupid, some people were worried and HAD to call everyone, but hey, no one's perfect. I was happy with my radio and walking around at night with no lights was so interesting.
I would have loved to go stargazing but my monoc really can't see that I would need a telescope what most ppl can see with their eyes.
I still enjoyed it.
Now i'm at work, and not too happy they made me come into work.
Stupid people but hey, its life and at least I get paid.
I hope everyone is alright, and not dying of heat, or all their food spoiling.
