Problem

So I've got a slight problem and I just need to bounce ideas and write at the moment.

My problem has to do with my research paper for this semester and deciding what I want to write about. I will describe my options and then give pros and cons.

Of the two of those topics, the first one sounds much more interesting (very possibly because I've never heard of those people before). The second topic, in many ways, sounds like the safe topic. It's interesting, but you know you have sources, you know to some degree what you could say in that essay. Whether you choose one of these topics or a completely different one, though, I think you should not be afraid to take risks. A paper written out on a limb is infinitely more interesting than a paper on something well known or established, even if you have more/better sources
