[The com clicks on. And there is a long... long silence. Some shifting in the background. Unlike previous transmissions, this one lacks the distinct creaking sounds of metal. At last, a voice speaks. While familiar, it is not... the same as before.]

[Not talking QUITE as fast as usual, either, though it sounds like he's TRYING to.]
From the sound of it, at least three of us have been affected. As for the Decepticons, I haven't heard anything from them, but it's very likely and it might be a good idea to find out.

[He tries his best to make a growling sound.]
If they still possess their original bodies... we will have difficulty.

[Translation: he's at normal speeds and he hates it so, so much.]
We will, if that's the case. I suppose we should "keep our fingers crossed"... though I'm not quite sure how that would help.

... If they are human... I wonder if Shockwave possesses only one optical sensor... Hmn... May limit his perception...
And not notice a quick strike. [HINT HINT BLURR]

That would certainly be worth finding out about, simply for research sake of course.

... I will hold, you punch?

[SO THIS IS CREEPY.]
That might not be necessary. I only need to hit him once, anyway. Possibly.

Got... reprogrammed a while back. Thought I was newly built again. Went back to normal soon enough. Just ease off... I will tell him to quit being so entertained. This will... pass.
Yeah, but you really think he will stay still for you to hit him?

It's good to hear that. It does correspond with what I've seen in the communication logs; most of these changes seem to last only a short time. There's no need for you to tell him to stop enjoying himself, it isn't a bother, simply... strange.
I should hope that he wouldn't have to stay still for me to hit him, even in this form, but it certainly may be easier in oh, say, a week when this is likely to have worn off.

Seems like it. And it is... good. I have no desire to remain in this body--cannot even shut off the pain receptors... I should tell him anyway. Getting irritating, even for him.
... Would be more fun to restrain him.

Pain receptors? Are you injured? Or should I ask if you are still injured in that form? If the wound is still as bad as it looked before, that could be dangerous.
I do normally view restraint as being more convenient, but I don't really have a reason to do much damage to him. Or, if I do, I'd rather not; I'm not fond of combat much less close combat.

... Yeah. Got the wound still. Hurts... more. Everything still functions.
All the more reason for me to hold him.

He makes a sympathetic sound at the thought of the injury. That would be bad.] Humans seem to feel more -- overwhelmingly, and don't have any way to shut off their pain receptors. Perhaps there may be a more convenient way to repair the wound while in this form, at least? It may carry over to your normal form in return.
I don't want to do that much! Hold him for what?
Reply
And if it does not? Besides... Ratchet is no human medic. And I will not allow another to see to my repairs. Hmnf!
... You get one punch. I owe him more.
