[There's a couple reasons for asking. The general headcount, and asking a few important questions that came up when he spoke to Zuko.]

I was aboard the Elegante .. I've been here approximately four months.

You seen any sign of a system here?

[Oh, Talia knows all about the system and Mother. She was there when Mother died, after all.]

There has been no sign of something similar here, but there are surely areas that have not been fully investigated..

[Talia frowns slightly and then her eyes widen a bit as she realizes what it is Ironhide means.]

You mean those that have returned from the dead? Yes, I have head of those if not dealt with any personally as of yet. I spoke of Mother .. although if they have the ability to bring people back, there is likely something similar here.

[What that was specifically was yet to be seen, but there was undoubtedly something.]

The others say you only lose memories. But those memories return...

Yes, they seem to do so for the span of a few days to a week approximately. They slowly regain their memories over that time and there seems, thus far, to be no lasting effect to the deaths. I do not know if multiple occurrences result in blackened eyes or the like ..

Hmn. So if they come back... there is nothing to worry about.

Nothing that we know of yet, but I will not presume that it will be so easy.

[That earns Ironhide a snort of laughter when another time the same comment would have appalled her.]

Havens, no. We've quite been along that path, haven't we.. I should think there are only so many times one can hear that explanation, yes?

[Losing Valdemar had been life altering and left the empath broken, but she'd begun to heal. Losing the Shore had not been quite as tragic, though certain aspects had still hurt keenly.]

Yes, it was. It's Ironhide, yes? [Talia is nothing if not astute and attentive to the journals.] If .. If I hear or learn anything I will be certain to let you know.
