Dropping Out

I think I'm going to be leaving York after this year. I'm applying to George Brown College for their ASL/DS program. If I get in, my loans will remain the same while tuition will be 1/4 what it is now.

This idea came to me last night when some of my buddies on IRC were looking up what their profs have for salaries. The profs were all getting 150-300 thousand dollars for doing what they do. If profs make that much, why do they suck at teaching?

Anyway, if I go into the ASL/DS program, I'll be able to progress to the interpreter program after one year. That means after one year I'll have a diploma of some sort, unlike University where I would work my butt off for 4 years to get a degree. Plus, I'll be able to start work even after just the one diploma. So, it would definitely be a help. What do you all think? Should I stick it out at York and have to worry about my potential finances after university, or should I go into a trade school and get some training for guaranteed employment?
