What happened to everyone
You know I really miss how it used to be a few years ago, particularly in the RE fandom not nessecarily the fanbase as a whole (because that's always been kinda dumb) but the tight little niche that united us all at one point here on LJ. Sure Capcom has played a role in dismantling RE into some kinda stupid ass bullshit, but I miss when there was a new fanfic posted up by one of the regulars and we would all sit around and talk about how awesome the story was(even if it had pairings or themes we weren't fond of or indiffrent too)
Granted awesome games have surfaced that adhere to our personal desires and wants that Capcom just isn't willing to give us in RE, but hasn't RE always kinda been like that? Obviously not as broken but the point of the fandom was to write fics and draw pics of an ideal we all wanted to see in RE. Nowadays the only thing we all come together to do concerning RE is bitch about how fucking shitty Capcom(with good reason don't get me wrong) is being with their direction of the franchise, which too me is really kinda sad honestly...
Of course I'm not telling anyone what to do or anything but I figured I would express a desire to see us all come together and get our RE on more time in a more postive way like the good ol days....
