(no subject)
Thanks to all of you for your well wishes in my last post. Here are some details for those of you still interested :)
Basically, when I went to this interview, I was thinking it was going to be for some secretarial work or an administrative assistant position. The company was actually looking for some 'people persons' to recruit people in and help them refinance their homes, do insurance, etc...
That's soooo not in my field. I scheduled a callback interview but I cancelled it- I've been doing some heavy duty thinking all weekend and doing finance just isn't my thing. I've been a creative person all my life, and I need to make things, I need to design things, not refinance. It's not that it wasn't a well paying position either, but that's beside the point.
I guess what it all boils down to is that I either need to do something mindless like data entry or something in my field involving design.
Does that make me sound incredibly stupid? I hope not. I just couldn't see myself doing this for a living either.
