(+)last nights Hawaii 5-0 is at the top of the list why I'm bouncing off the walls. I just love all the characters so much - both individually and as a team. They aren't one dimensional, and I love the support they show to one another. Still on my hunt for a new icon from the show. Maybe a new layout as well? It's been so long since I've done anything with LJ...
(+) in one week, I will celebrate my three anniversary with my boyfriend. Considering how much of a roller coaster the first year we moved in together was, I'm very happy that we worked everything out and are so happy.
(+) in two weeks Human Target is back! I've been dying ever since they left us hanging end of the first season
(+) in three weeks, it will be my bday! My friends and family can get pretty busy and distracted, and we live far enough apart, that I love the chance to get everyone together and just catch up.
(+) in four weeks (and this is the best one) I gain back two hours each day, plus a couple hundred dollars that had been going to gas. I just got the call - I've been offered the job at the public library that I had applied for! YAY. I'm so excited to have the chance to work there, and also not have commute. *does a happy dance*
(:) It's been a quiet couple of weeks, with only one cat in the apartment again. On the one hand, it's been nice having just our kitty around, and I know he feels more relaxed when he doesn't have to be on guard against any other cats. On the other hand, I've really enjoyed the two foster cats we've taken care of already, and it's a great chance to help out. I've put myself back on the active list, and am now just waiting to hear about the next foster kitty we'll be looking after.
(-) how the hell do i tell my current job that I'm quitting? That's always been my least favourite part about a new opportunity, and this time there are a few more issues before I am free. I also feel really bad that I'll be leaving my coworkers in such a lurch because we are already extremely shorthanded, but my bosses can suck it LOL.
I already knew before all this that November was going to be a stressful month, but looking at this entry, at least they are mostly good stresses!
