You know the drill--if you have something to say about how I play Ashura, you can say it here. Anon on, comments screened, but please do be constructive with your crit.
If you want to reach me directly, you can send me a PM or IM me at Duinorwen, and I'll be in touch.
Also, in case you didn't want to read app-zilla, here's a thing you ought to know about playing with Ashura!
Pronouns:
When I play Ashura, the pronouns that I use aren't going to line up directly with standard English. To make a (very) long story short, Ashura has no physical sex and doesn't identify with either gender, which is troublesome given that English only has gendered third-person pronouns to refer to sentient beings. "It" is dehumanizing, but "he" and "she" seem to imply a connection to gender identities that, frankly, Ashura doesn't have.
My solution is to use a set of
invented pronouns--'sie' and 'hir', as in 'sie walked to the store', 'I like hir a lot', and 'that's hir house'. OOC, I would like for others to do the same. However, IC and in action tags, please feel free to refer to hir in whatever way strikes you as most IC (which, for most characters, I assume would be to figure sie's either a boy or a girl and talk to/about hir accordingly).
Thank you!
