Hello car park 36, David speaking, how may I help you?

Oct 24, 2005 02:00

Now if any of you are aware, I am a student working at the Toronto Parking Authority (TPA) lot beneath Nathan Phillips Square. If you didn't, well congratulations now you know. The above title has no real relvance to this entry but I felt I should exlpain why the hell I would be saying that line. My particular garage is refered to as carpark 36 hence my chirpy default message for answering the phone. Hell, you might even hear me say that if you can expertly navigate the TPA automated phone line and manage to get yourself connected to the City Hall lot. Thoguh, I wouldn't recommend trying it, the supervisors are a bitchy pair.

Tonight has been quite unproductive thus far, let me recount the events of my day.

1. 12:35 am - Get back from a slow-as-molasses shift at work. Although, I managed to get half of my required readings for my political science lecture done at work and on the subway so go me.

2. 12:45 am - Learn that from the $5 ticket I bought for yesterday's 649 jackpot I won dun dun dun a free bloody ticket with encore. The fuck?

3. 1:00 am - Ambled upstairs to find out that my dad once more re-seurected a virus that has been plauging my desktop for a while (see that Dude I Got a Dell post).

4. ? am - Kathleen phoned at some point, can't really pin point the call, might be the ONLY worthwhile event of the evening.

5. 1:30 am - Davey realizes he has just expended the last of his system restores, in non-techy jargon this means he is royally shafted by his retarded little desktop. I see a reformating looming on the horizon.

6. 2:00 am - Started this post.

Wow. My God. My evening was so ... bloody boring. Thoguh, I did get to use 'bloody' as an explextive, yay me? But now I must depart because well, what else do I have to say expect that you're ugly. There I said it. I know a lot of people don't tell that to your face but you can't go throuhgout life thinking ... eh I'm just kidding. Please don't kill me!

Valete! (Tbat's farewell in Latin biatch)
