[A cold breeze for anyone that happens to be in or around the great hall. Then a short, barking laugh. The owner seems unaware the journal is picking up his voice. He sounds almost nostalgic, but far more amused.]

Huh. Well I'll be damned. It doesn't look any different. You'd think they'd hire an interior decorator or something, wow.

[He's already impolite as it is, but now he's just plain frustrated. Which makes him worse. Sorry, Bob. He'll stop to question the voice coming out of his journal; he's not quite sure what that's about.]

[Gabriel has no knowledge of those kittens, but yes. Very much so. Also, if he were less frustrated he might be inclined to say thanks, since it's the first somewhat nice welcome he's gotten. The sentiment is there.]
