I finally saw World Police: Team America! It made me realize that my life goals of scoring to "Nights in White Satin" by the Moody Blues (with the ultra lame spoken word at the beginning and end) and getting some Cajun boiled peanuts were silly and unrealistic. I know now that I was born to purchase the soundtrack to WP: TA and drive around playing it as loud as fucking possible. AMERICA! FUCK YEAH! COMING AGAIN TO SAVE THE MOTHERFUCKING DAAAAAY! Man, that movie makes me proud to be an American.
I also saw SpongeBob SquarePants, and it was another very righteous movie. Polar Express: not so righteous. It was hella lame. They maybe could have saved that movie by making the kid that looked liked Corey Feldman ala Stand By Me act like his character Teddy from Stand By Me. Hmm. Nope. It would have still sucked. When will people learn that children are heartless little beasts?
I decided I'm going to write a harlequin romance novel about Carmen the Flamenco Dancer and Chuck the Foosball Champion and then buy a houseboat with the money I get for it. Or maybe a dingy and just have a plastic tarp to cover it during hurricane season? I think the less contact I have with people in Jacksonville, the more faith I'll have in humanity.
