Angels at Coachella
He stood behind her, her hands holding his arms that were wrapped around her shoulders. They swayed together gently to the sweet melody of the familiar song. Taking his eyes off the stage to glance around them he smiled as he realised that not a single pair of eyes were focused on them. Surrounded by thousands of people, yet not one person cared who they were or what they were doing. Rob sighed happily before burying his face in her hair and inhaling the unique scent that was quintessentially Kristen.
The music continued to play as he extracted his arms from her grip and turned her to face him. Kristen looked up at Rob with a look of confusion that faded into a loving smile when he cupped her face in his big hands. Their bodies were pressed together, her hands on his hips, as he looked into her eyes and his thumbs caressed her cheek bones.
Standing so close together, Kristen could clearly hear Rob's voice as he started to sing to her. His eyes never straying from hers and the look of pure love in his eyes intense and familiar.

The massive crowd around them, the band playing on stage, their raucous friends, all disappeared and the only thing that existed was Rob and Kristen. A tear slipped from Kristen's eye and was quickly stopped by the gentle caress of Rob's thumb along her cheek. Anyone could have been looking, the whole festival could have silenced and turned to watch them but neither would have known or cared as Rob's lips pressed gently against Kristen's while the song played on in the background.

He'd written countless songs about her, for her, but Kristen would always swear that the greatest thing she'd ever heard fall from his lips was the same thing he whispered after he gently broke their kiss.
