So the parent's dinner was at Maria's Front Room tuesday evening in Ferndale. The attendees were my parents, grandfather, and Aaron's parents. Aaron and I decided to take a picture of all of together at the beginning of the night just in case this was the last time we all sat at a table together. We wanted to be able to show our kids the last time their grandparents sat together with us just in case.
Well surprisingly the evening was not a disaster. Our parents got a long (how weird). They were polite. They laughed. They shared food. They didn't say any embrassing things about myself or Aaron. No one brought up my ex. Skin color was irrelevant as it should be.
To be honest Aaron and I was so surprised how well it went. Well we are praying that the ceremony in December goes just as smooth. It may be to close to call but we probably don't have to tell the minister to leave out the objection part due to fear of some loon standing up and recking the ceremony.
