Sleepless Weekend
Ahh what a weekend that was! hehehe, friday i hung out with steph after school, shewizards for 2 hours, tim horton's for almost the same amount of time... it was fun, we immitated Samantha (the whole "I'm a dude" thing) hehe it was pretty funny! then we went back to cold lake north, met up with john, played bowling.. i suck so it was alot of fun!! then we walked steph home and went too Kathleen's house.. there was a bit of a party there, i thought i was gonna be like the odd man out cuz i didnt think i'd know anyone, but i knew quite a few people, maybe more than half of the people who were there! I had a few beers and some Jack Daniels (and i had people laugh at me every time i took a sip of it cuz i made a funny face or something.. pfft) haha and then i went to McDicks and got people food, then went back, had more to drink. And there was a kid there that couldn't handle his alcohol or something cuz he went all suicidal, depressive and such! it wasnt fun, trying to keep him in the house, having him pull a knife on himself, having him push/throw me into a wall (which gave me a little bruise on my left hip bone that doesnt show to more, but man oh man does it hurt!!) and then, uhm.. eventually things settled down and i passed out on the couch. i had told john to wake me up after his game of pool, and he said okay but he let me sleep, so i at least got 3 hours of sleep! Then we went to McDonalds again cuz Joe wanted hashbrowns and then i went home and got ready to go with steph and get hair dye and then dye my hair!
Now.. my hair.. man oh man.. it was suposed to be blonde and some of the dreads blue.. but the way we did it didnt quite work out, we tried the shower cap with holes, that didnt work, tin foil neither, and so we took a ziplock bag, which worked fine, til it made my whole head blue.. so we took that off and did most of them blue and kept a few blonde. I will definetely have to get used to them.. i think come april, i will either bleach them which will probably turn out weird cuz my blue will go orange-ish, OR i will cut my dreads off and experience with other styles of hair for a while :(
Anyway, then there was the dance, it was alright, not the best one, but it was alot of fun! and then, uhm.. yeah it was back to the same house i was the day before. this time, less drinking, and less people! i got 4 hours of sleep. so that was like 7 hours of sleep in a whole weekend. i dont think anything overly exciting happened last night.. i went to timmies.. the people who worked at around 3am were rude!!!!!
anyways, that was my weekend! oh and tonight, pascale came over, we watched videos and went for walks and talked and all that, nothing too stressful or exhausting, cuz im really tired! Oh and i was sitting at my computer today and i had things in my head, so i wrote this;
after long observations from afar,
with realising my heart isnt made of tar,
i saw something in you
something that must be true
for i do not love often
nor can i controle when it'll happen
what could it have been
that made you stand out
because my heart you did win
this you know nothing about
could today be the day
where i can look at you and say
what i've been wanting for so long
and that very moment i could prolong
live it like it was forever
or wake up from this dream and let it be over
took like a minute to write.. nothing special.. but yeah.. anyways, my wise words are included into the poem above,
