Ah... It's difficult to explain. this is, however, a different world- separate from Konoha and geography as we're aware of it. It's hard to believe at first, perhaps, but it's nonetheless true.

As for everything else you'll find strange initially, this world is called Adstringendum, and you'll find a great many here from different worlds and it even acts as a compression of time where people arrive from different time periods. Lee, for example, is here, but he's as a Genin.

The work of Scientists that are trapped here as well, but they reside separately with a fortified defense they lock themselves up in and isolate themselves in.

We're not anymore, unfortunately, and technically, I've been here for nearly a year. With different times, however, it seems as though the future isn't...affected... by disappearances.

...I would assume at least, you never noticed my disappearance judging by your surprise.

[Neji clears his throat- he almost sounded upset for a moment]

It's something called an 'event' as termed by those that reside here, created by beings known as 'Animus' who are rumored to be spiritual in form and have unrivaled powers of manipulation over this world and it's properties. There is usually one week-long event once every other week; beginning at midnight on Sunday, and ending at midnight of the following Sunday.

For this event, one can be ensnared by unknown means under the bough until it's traditional use is fulfilled.

And yes, there is. For safety precautions- as there's someone here who can adopt a person's form just by knowing what they look like. I don't know how it differs from Henge, but he's apparently dangerous.

That long ago? There's no way a shadow clone could be maintained for such a long time, and so perfectly.
