I'm not dense, Tenten.

Of course he can't, but he may yet be able to escape alone. We don't have the seals that we did at home and it's unlikely they could be fashioned from this world's materials. It's not reliable, but it's a small possibility.

I do not understand the nature of the request, either, and I've hardly had a moment to spare to assess it.

It's a risk either way. We've grown lax in our own security, it seems, but if we go in at all, it's with every necessary precaution with the utmost professionalism. We will not take unnecessary risks and a small team will be more efficient. Time is valued, but rash actions will lead to suicide.

There's a careful balance that must be observed, even as values waver. Which is the larger risk, in the end. Of course, war may not be fully preventable, but we can't be sure of their current intention with Kakashi-sensei. Once we have that information, the outcome will be a little easier to determine.

Capturing him just to kill him is pointless with the way this world works. There has to be something they want from him. If it's anything to do with Naruto, Kakashi-sensei is highly trained.

The consideration that Sasori was the one they chose to carry out the assault might be something to dwell on.

I know you're not. But I needed to say that.

I'll hope he finds a way, but I won't count on it. We can't count on it. I've been trying to asses it while trying to monitor all of the younger ninjas. I can't figure it out. Surely he'd want Sakura instead, she killed him. It has to mean he's not working alone. I don't think they need his eye, as they have an Uchiha already.

What if they want war? He's connected the most, out of all of us here.

I'd forgotten about coming back to life. It's still a strange thought. Maybe they want to use him to get Itachi again, and Sasuke.

They won't risk the man behind the scenes, Madara. Hidan would just kill. Deidara probably can't handle things complicated, he strikes me as harder to manage. And I don't know anything about the other one, Tobi.

They would only openly start a war if there was something they'd accomplish or profit from. I've yet to realize any benefits toward such a movement.

I don't believe Itachi's ties are strong toward Kakashi-sensei. Though it might affect him on some scale, he's still too unpredictable in his current state. He may already have an interest in Akatsuki, and I'm not sure of what he's told Sasuke if he might sway him. There's also more tentative information from his past future self that contradicts even that theory.

It's evident Madara has an interest in Sasuke and Itachi, however. I'm unsure of the reasons, but it's possible in that respect. Using Kakashi-sensei as bait has already failed, however. If that was their intention, they'd likely kill him to make a point. Captives only remain alive until they are no longer useful.

Madara and Tobi, from my observations, share the exact same chakra systems- though their personalities are drastically different. Closer inspection is required to confirm anything, but I've only seen near-twin chakra systems in very rare cases. Further than that, only clones have matching chakra systems, as they are counterparts of the original. It's my current theory that they are the same individual.

It's likely true that Sasori is the most capable one among them- save for Madara himself- and he holds the ability to effectively handle prisoners on such an immediate scale. I don't have much more information on him or many of the other Akatsuki, unfortunately...

Their end goal back home could only be war.

Itachi is tied to Sasuke who is tied to Kakashi-sensei. Itachi was of use to the Akatsuki before, a strong member from what I understand. It would make sense to want him back. ...past future self?

Tobi and Madara, the same? I don't know anything to contradict that, so we can work with it. That's one less enemy, if you're right. I haven't known your eyes to be wrong.

I don't either. We dealt with Deidara, heard about Sasori's battle, saw the after-effects of Pein's attack... and now I've met someone who is supposed to be long-dead, Uchiha Madara, and there's a Tobi running around.

Back in our world, they had the goal of capturing all of the Bijuu inside the Jinchuuriki. I'm not sure how many they've succeeded in capturing now, but the fact remains that while they are here, those efforts are useless unless everything they require suddenly forms and appears.

Ah, but Sasuke left Konoha in pursuit of Itachi. I've long been aware of Sasuke's priorities even from his previous appearances, it's been the same. His first loyalty is to Itachi. Though I'm sure he has a bond with Kakashi, the bait to lure him- if that was the intention -has already failed.

I would hope not.

But once they had them back home, they'd be powerful enough that everyone would go after them, inciting war. Or they just wanted control.

I can't think of a way that Kakashi-sensei could be used to give them anything. He's powerful, but he's not going to fall under sharingan control, he doesn't have a Bijuu to lose...

I was never that close to Sasuke, so I wouldn't know. I don't get why they went for Kakashi-sensei.
