I... don't know. I don't know enough to say. If there's someone they see reason enough to go after, they might just go after them. If there's one constant with the Akatsuki, it's betrayal, so it's hard to say what they might do.
But right now, they're focused on us. It doesn't make sense to give them more targets.
They had multiple fronts back home and functioned well.
Capable allies are reinforcements. People who are charging in, untrained or poorly trained, are liabilities. There are a lot of kids in the city, and I'd like to keep them out of it.

There's a group of enemies of our village back home. They've showed up here and have one of our people as a hostage. We'll get him back.
You should know they're pretty dangerous.

Not the best weather for this kind of action, but will these enemies confine their interest to just your people?

Of course, the more people involved the more danger, but it's all a matter of whether you see allies as reinforcements or liabilities.

Fair enough, Tenten. Kids are always to be protected, and fools... Well, they'll rush in regardless, in most cases.

Yes. But foolish kids can be knocked over the head and dragged back.

For foolish kids I recommend duct tape.

Duct... tape? That's the thicker tape we put around the windows in case of the sandstorm, I think. Wouldn't that hurt?

A bit, but not as much as the alternative.

True. We have some left over. I'll use that if they get out of hand.

Sometimes it's the best solution.

I'll test it out.
