This is getting to be the stupidest thing ever!
I was so excited!! Just over a week ago all of the children got to attend a birthday party with Emmi and Aily. Everyone was so excited. They haven't been allowed to see each other in over a year. The stipulation was that Bonnie would only agree to allow the children to be there if David and I were not. We agreed to this because the kids were SSSOOO excited and have missed Emmi and Aily so much. Bonnie was not going to just send Rob with the girls but also attend the party herself. The party went well Aily, Promyse and Kalleiopye played well together. Boo got a chance to hang out with Emmi. All seemed to go really well, with only a few minor snags. At the end as everyone was getting ready to leave Bonnie SENT Emmi over to the children and Sean (who was escorting them) to invite them all to their dance recital the following week. She emphasized that all were welcome and that it would mean the world to her and Aily if everyone would attend.
Fast forward to tonight.
As we are getting ready to get the children to the recital I get a frantic phone call. Pat tells me that she has spoken to Rob and Bonnie and that I need to check my E-mail asap. There I would find a message stating that if we showed up that the police would be called and we would be escorted out. I am beside myself. Why would anyone invite children to an important event only to tell them they can not go??!!?? This is getting really stupid. Perhaps the message was only intended for the adults.. BUT... then how were the children supposed to attend?!?!? I can't exactly send a 7 year old to a public event un-attended! And if I were meant to find a different chaperone why was this message sent at the last minute???
I JUST DON"T GET IT!!!!!
I have not called, talked too, harassed, or other wise done ANYTHING to bonnie or the girls!!!! The one time I saw bonnie I gave her a gift from the children, told her how good she looked, and congratulated her on her engagement. Then I left her alone because I knew she HATED me and had no interest in talking to me!

When Sean saw Emmi and Aily at the party, he DIDN'T even talk to them!
ALL THIS DOES IS HURT THE KIDS!! AND THERE IS NO REASON FOR IT!!!
There does not have to be all this drama! I miss her horribly. I am so proud of the life she has put together for herself! However, if bonnie never wants to speak to me again that's fine. If she really feels the need to bad mouth me to friends, family, and community that's fine too. But there is no need to do this to the children. I have no intention of starting or continuing drama. Can't we just call a truce for the sake of the children?
