Happy Halloween! Well today is All Saints Day.
Normally i won't say this on here, but i got to spend 3 nights in a row with jd. yay! That's so rare! haha. The BLIM concert on Friday night was so out-of-this-world. I guess i'm not used to really abstract, modern music, cause i tend to like music that has melodies but what can you say, it's really really different! I'm not used to hearing scratching pages, footsteps, mixed in with odd beats and telephone rings as music, but some parts were interesting. The most fun i had there though was playing ping pong and sipping some really good beer..It's a good thing i dont have to do a reflection assignment on the music that we listened to ('cause this is for FPA 140 -- im never going to take that course!)..too bad jd has to! haha. (Note to self: don't go out when both parties are tired, because someone will be bound to be moody, cranky, blah).
Saturday and sunday were better though. Booty was a lot of fun! I saw An (my geog 255 lab partner) at Atlantis with her friends, so i danced with her group for a bit, while dancing with all of my other friends. If there are any pictures of me in them, i would like to see it, thanks! The costume contest was .. interesting. It's sad though in order to win the $250 you have to have 2 girls to make out? Hrm.. But PROPS to the rice club! I really liked diane's costume..it was so cute and funny! Sunday was Halloween and i finally found a swimsuit. Well, i really wanted a tankini top but since it's so hard to match it with my present bottom, i ended up buying a 2 piece set. But it took me 3 hours to find and my family ended up not going to see the multimillionaire home in White Rock which they were advertising..sorry! I'll have to make it up to my parents some how. Anyway, it's a bikini...i've NEVER worn a bikini ever in my life, so it's a big step for me. LOL. Later, jd & i went out to Earl's for dinner where i saw Carla dress up as a pixie/angel, and Amanda as a can-can dancer. TOo bad nobody else dressed up at earls..i at least was wearing an orange top..(my neon-salmon shirt to be exact) . Then we went to Death by Chocolate, and came back to the house to watch Ep. 5 of STAR WARS!! Not too many people came to our house even though it is a main road. We still have lots of candy/chips left over, even after we gave the kids two huge handfuls! And the majority were 'big' kids. Hey that meant, i could have gone trick or treating! OH well, next year. haha.
